Artist Statement
I love to paint what I feel and visualize during meditation. I use my spiritual experience to create art.

Using a brush, paddle, or my fingers, I apply acrylic paint on canvas. Glitter is my second favorite medium because it adds sparkle.

My intention is for people to look at my art, connect with it, and through their own perspective, experience what the art means to them.
Biography
Ashleigh North
Canadian Emerging Painter
Born Vancouver, B.C., Canada
Ashleigh North was born with an abundance of creativity and recently she has turned this driving force into painting with acrylics.
Her creativity was evident as a child who loved to bake, color and build objects. She has always had a very curious nature and a deep awareness of her surroundings. As a little preschooler, her inquisitiveness included following the sound of a creek with her Gramma to see what that sound was and also noticing a large white seagull flying by the window and wondering what that was!
As she has moved through her life, Ashleigh’s world travel and personal experiences have evolved into a positive healing business. She is the author of a number of books and also has produced several YouTube videos to assist others to overcome life’s difficulties.
This year, while meditating, Ashleigh began to see visions of the Universe and she was inspired to create these with acrylic paint on canvas. Ashleigh’s hope is that you may feel some of the peace and wonder that she felt while creating these artworks.
It is evident that these inspirational and highly contrasting artworks mark the beginning of Ashleigh North’s emerging painter career in Canada.
